It should be noted that, in addition to international support, the country is also conducting its own campaign to support Ukraine. Militarnyi reported that the UK, together with Latvia, will lead a "drone coalition" under which Ukraine will receive drones worth £250 million.
Training of the Ukrainian military under the UNIFIER UKIn January 2024, the country handed over a new military aid package for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The aid package included howitzers, ammunition, helicopters, drones, communication devices, equipment, and anti-tank weapons.
In addition, Latvia is one of the countries that trains the Ukrainian military.
