A kamikaze drone hit a vehicle of the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system

Source: SOF press service Operators of the Special Operations Center "East" (former 3rd Special Forces Regiment) of the SOFs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted a kamikaze drone at a vehicle from the R-378B automated jamming station of the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system.
The Press Service of the Special Operations Forces reported on this. The target was reportedly detected by a reconnaissance drone in the Donetsk sector. Based on the characteristic interface, the detection and targeting were performed by a Ukrainian-made Shark reconnaissance drone.
A kamikaze drone, the model of which is not disclosed, struck the enemy combat vehicle.
Combat missions of the Special Operations Forces
On April 4, Militarnyi reported that the operators of the 73rd Maritime Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used HIMARS to target the invaders who were constructing fortifications. During reconnaissance operations in the southern direction, SOF discovered enemy personnel constructing new fortifications and control posts.
It is reported that as a result of the strike, 14 Russian servicemen died, and 7 were injured.

On March 26, 2024, it was reported that in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces helped destroy the Russian Buk air defense system.
The system was deployed in the field for combat duty but proved incapable of detecting and shooting down the Ukrainian reconnaissance drone.
The destruction of the BUK air defense system by Ukrainian gunners required only one GMLRS rocket fired from HIMARS.
