The brigade's press service released a video of the destruction. The video shows how an accurate shot from the Archer wheeled self-propelled gun destroyed a Russian MSTA-S tracked self-propelled howitzer. When the Russian howitzer was destroyed, it was deployed to a prepared artillery position and was quite well camouflaged.
Due to the high skill of aerial reconnaissance, it was possible to detect the howitzer in time and give targeting instructions to Ukrainian artillery. To destroy the Russian howitzer, the Swedish-made Archer wheeled self-propelled gun was used, which, thanks to a digital fire control system and other auxiliary sensors, has high accuracy at long ranges.
It should be noted that due to the high level of automation, Archer is the best counter-battery solution for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as the system can be fully deployed in just 20 seconds. Also, all preparatory processes for firing, as well as the firing itself, are fully automated and controlled by the operator from the cabin.

This is not the first time the Swedish self-propelled guns have been used against enemy artillery systems.
Militarnyi previously reported that at the beginning of March 2024, artillerymen of the 45th Artillery Brigade destroyed D-20 howitzers and enemy personnel with counter-battery fire.
It should be noted that the destruction of enemy howitzers was a result of a joint operation with the aerial reconnaissance unit of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade.
