In Kharkiv Oblast, two mushroom pickers step on landmines

Quote from Syniehubov: "A 45-year-old man was injured in the Chuhuiv district. He was blown up by a mine while picking mushrooms. A similar accident happened to a 24-year-old resident of the Izium district, who was picking mushrooms, too."

Details: The head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration did not report on the condition of these men.

At the same time, he emphasised that visiting forests is currently very dangerous due to the large number of mines and unexploded ammunition hidden there. Syniehubov said that only within the past 24 hours, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service deactivated 578 explosive objects in the territory of the region.

The head of the Military Administration urged people not to go to forest, because it could cost them life.
