Russians attack Odesa Oblast with 3 ballistic and 3 cruise missiles in one day

Russian troops have attacked Odesa Oblast with three ballistic missiles (allegedly Iskander-M) and three Kh-59/Kg-69 guided cruise missiles on 17 May. Source: Ukraine's Air Force on Telegram Details: The Ukrainian forces also reported that the Russians are actively using reconnaissance drones throughout the southern front.

Quote: "In total, air defence on the southern front destroyed:

• Thee Kh-59 guided missiles in Odesa Oblast;
• Two ZALA reconnaissance UAVs, a Lancet attack UAV and a UAV of an unspecified type in Kherson Oblast;
• One UAV of unspecified type in Kirovohrad Oblast".

Background: 

• On 17 May, a fire broke out in Odesa district at the site of a Russian missile hit, causing damage to civilian infrastructure.
• Later one civilian was reported killed and eight more injured in a Russian attack on Odesa district on the afternoon of 17 May.
