Russians learn to storm Ukrainian positions using motorcycles

The Russian propaganda Telegram channel released the video of the training. The published footage captures Russian infantrymen riding cross-country motorcycles in twos, arriving close to the makeshift trenches, hastening and launching an assault. In real combat conditions, the success of such an assault may depend on the speed of detection, response, and the availability of effective means of destruction at the positions of the defenders.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Russians have conducted assault operations using highly mobile and fast vehicles such as motorcycles or all-terrain vehicles. In addition, such vehicles are used to deliver provisions, ammunition, and infantry to positions or as transportation for mobile anti-tank and anti-aircraft crews.

Their speed helps minimize the time spent in the open, thus reducing the time to detection and destruction. Despite their high speed and maneuverability, such vehicles often become easy targets for FPV drones and artillery, and due to the lack of protection, the crew's survival chances are minimal.

In early May, it was reported that soldiers of the 79th Separate Tavrian Air Assault Brigade repelled an assault and destroyed a group of Russian invaders riding motorcycles.

The published footage shows Russian motorcyclists moving toward the positions of Ukrainian defenders and suffering losses as a result of fire from FPV drones.

Militarnyi has previously reported that Russians are trying to protect their all-terrain vehicles and even motorcycles as much as possible by adding anti-drone nets, electronic warfare equipment, and smoke bombs.

However, such protection remains ineffective due to the lack of the possibility of installing armor.
