A frame from Serhii Prytula's video Ukrainian brigades have received a batch of 60 DARTS strike drones. According to volunteer Serhii Prytula, the drones were purchased with funds donated by the mother of a fallen officer from Donetsk, known by the call sign "Raz-Dva."

The mother of the fallen soldier contributed UAH 2.5 million of state compensation to the Foundation with the wish to "invest in something that continues my son's legacy. He dreamed of returning to his free hometown, Donetsk." The benefactors used the donation to purchase 60 DARTS strike drones, along with 4 catapults and 2 repeaters for them.

The drones will be distributed between the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade and the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. These loitering munitions from the Ukrainian manufacturer have a range of 40-50 km and a speed of 160 km per hour. The DARTS has a warhead weighing 4 kilograms.

In addition to its relatively long range, the low price is also noteworthy--UAH 40 thousand, or about £1 thousand. These drones are used together with relay drones to operate effectively at maximum distances.

The fuselage of the Darts drone allows it to withstand numerous hits from small arms. This aerodynamic scheme allows more efficient use of battery energy and operates at a greater distance. Darts has a wingspan of 1.9 meters and a fuselage 1.5 meters long.

A drone is equipped with one engine.

Recall that recently it became known that the Nemesis heavy drone "taught" to fly more than 20 km.

For uninterrupted communication, Nemesis integrated Starlink satellite communication terminals.
