Russia bans broadcasting of over 80 European media

In response to the broadcasting restrictions imposed on Russian publications RIA Novosti, Izvestia, and Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Russia has prohibited access to 81 media from European countries on its territory. In total, Russia has blocked the broadcasting of 81 media outlets in 25 European nations, including Germany's Der Spiegel and Der Zeit, pan-European Politico and EUobserver, Polish Belsat, Lithuanian LRT, French France-Presse, and others.

If the restrictions on Russian media are lifted, the Russian government will review its position concerning the aforementioned media agencies.
