Ukraine has launched serial production of long-range drones
Ukraine's defense industry has launched mass production of long-range drones that hit targets in Russia. According to Herman Smetanin, they are capable of hitting targets at a range of more than 1,000 kilometers. Ukraine has developed long-range drones and put them into mass production in a fairly short period of time.
"They are now hitting enemy strategic targets at a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers," said Smetanin. According to the Director General of JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry, it is not worth copying Russia's approach to such production.

"We have to be more flexible and inventive. David once realized that fighting Goliath with Goliath's methods was a bad idea. As a result, he chose the weapon that could bring victory and skillfully used it," Smetanin said.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi recently said that Ukrainian long-range UAVs had a flight range of up to 1300 kilometers. "We have really increased the production of drones. Their range is now 1000 km plus.
That is, there are 1000, 1200 and 1300 km, but we must understand that this is a drone, and its power is much less than that of a missile," Zelenskyi said.

However, the President noted that it was impossible to compare the power of a drone strike with the power of a missile strike.
"It is impossible to compare the speed of a missile with the speed of a drone, because these are different means for different purposes," Zelenskyi added.
As previously reported, about 80% of the precision strikes on the Russian oil refineries were carried out with the help of Liutyi drones.
