Russia loses about 720 soldiers over first day of the year

Ukrainian defenders have killed approximately 720 Russian invaders and destroyed 44 UAVs over the past 24 hours. Details: The Russians suffered their heaviest losses on the Lyman, Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts.
