Berlin on Ukraine using German-supplied tanks in Kursk Oblast: Ukraine is exercising its right to self-defence

German Finance Minister Christian Lindner has responded to reports suggesting that Ukrainian forces are using German-supplied weapons in their offensive on Russia's Kursk Oblast. Details: The German minister added that the weapons will be used in the interests of the Ukrainian defence campaign. Earlier, German newspaper Bild reported that a video from Kursk Oblast featured a Wiesent engineering tank based on a Leopard 1 tank bearing the insignia of Ukraine's Armed Forces. Ukraine is believed to be using several such vehicles in its operation in Kursk Oblast.
