The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation handed over FV434 armored repair vehicle to the soldiers of the 100th Mechanized Brigade

Photo credits: Serhiy Prytula The soldiers of the 100th Mechanized Brigade received a FV434 armored repair vehicle. The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation donated an armored repair vehicle to the Ukrainian military.

It is designed to evacuate damaged light tracked and wheeled armored vehicles from the battlefield. The charitable foundation buys FV434 and other tracked armored vehicles for the Ukrainian military in the UK. The FV434 armored repair vehicle was manufactured by GKN Sankey on behalf of the British Army.

It is based on the FV430 armored personnel carrier. It has a welded armored hull that protects the crew from bullets and artillery shell fragments.

The armored repair vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic crane with a load capacity of 1,250 kg with a boom reach of 3.96 m and 3,050 kg with a boom reach of 2.26 m to perform the tasks. In the British army, it was provided with a set of spare parts for armored vehicles and tools for performing simple work in the field. The FV434 was exported on a limited basis; only after the start of decommissioning in the UK, several vehicles were received by India.

Last month, the 43rd Mechanized Brigade and the 32nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received one such vehicle each.

FV434 ARV and FV432 armored personnel carriers were handed over to Azov Brigade on July 16, 2024.

Also in July, the Azov One NGO, with the support of the Prytula Foundation, transferred a batch of armored vehicles to the 12th Special Operations Brigade "Azov".

The donors transferred 15 FV432 armored personnel carriers and 2 FV434 armored repair vehicles worth UAH 77 million to the soldiers.
