The Kyiv City State Administration will donate 1310 MAVIC 3T drones with thermal imagers to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The Kyiv City State Administration announced this on Telegram. The MAVIC 3T drones purchased at the city's expense are now being distributed among the units and will be sent to the front line soon.

The drones are expected to be transferred to the 3rd Assault Brigade, 5th Assault Brigade, 112th Territorial Defense Brigade, 241st Territorial Defense Brigade, and the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade "Rubizh" of the National Guard of Ukraine.

It is expected that the transfer of drones will continue to support military units engaged in fierce fighting on the front line. Each Mavic 3T is equipped with a thermal imager and a zoom camera.

Therefore, these drones are able to operate at night as well. Kyiv is implementing various initiatives to equip units on the front line. On July 31, 2024, the Kyiv City State Administration transferred Quantum's first batch of mapping drones to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The first batch of 28 units has already been handed over to the border guards, which help them patrol the border and detect violators. The Trinity mapping drones produced by the German company Quantum System were delivered. Quantum Systems plans to deliver 10 Trinity drones every two weeks until it has delivered all 100 drones.

Thanks to the high-quality optics provided by the Japanese RGB camera Sony RX1, the drone operator can detect targets at long distances and with excellent resolution.
