Switzerland appoints representative on assistance to Ukraine – photo
The Swiss Federal Council has decided to appoint a "delegate on Ukraine" to coordinate the financial and other assistance that the state allocates for Kyiv, as well as the reconstruction processes. Source: SRF, as reported by European Pravda Details: The Swiss government appointed Jacques Gerber, 51, Minister of Health and Economics of the French-speaking canton of Jura in northwestern Switzerland, to the post of delegate for Ukraine.
Advertisement:Gerber will take office on 1 January 2025, completing nine years of work in the cantonal government of Jura.

The delegate for Ukraine will be in charge of overseeing all Swiss government aid projects now carried out by the State Secretariats for Foreign Affairs and Economic Affairs.
