According to the published footage, the Russians were not ready to resist, as the Ukrainian military had the advantage in terms of weapons and personnel.

During the operation in the Kursk oblast, the Ukrainian Defense Forces significantly increased their exchange fund. Most of the prisoners of war are conscripts who will be exchanged for Ukrainian defenders in the future to free them from Russian captivity.

The battle-hardened 501st Marines Battalion is actively conducting assault operations and defending the positions occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As previously reported, soldiers of the 501st Marines Battalion stopped a Russian assault in Vyshnevka, the Kursk oblast.
