Kyiv transfers 550 drones to 5th Assault Brigade

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, who posted a video on his Telegram, announced this. These drones will help Ukrainian defenders perform combat missions on the front line. In particular, 150 Mavic 3T and 400 Mavic 3 PRO drones will be sent to Donbas to strengthen the Ukrainian Defense Forces' capabilities in fighting Russian invaders.

The Mayor reminded that at the end of the summer, Kyiv transferred 600 UAVs to the military of this brigade. Of these, 300 were 10-inch FPV drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras and 300 Mavic drones.

In total, since the beginning of this year, Kyiv has allocated UAH 650 million from the city budget to equip the 5th Assault Brigade, Vitali Klitschko said. In early October, the Kyiv community also transferred 750 drones of various types to the fighters of the Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky.

"The capital has allocated UAH 100 million for the brigade's needs this year. These funds are used to purchase much-needed equipment that helps our defenders destroy the enemy," Kyiv's Mayor shared. He also reminded that this year, the capital has already allocated UAH 8.6 billion to help the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In September alone, the Kyiv community transferred 1700 Mavic drones of various types to the front line.

Last month, the information and recruitment center of the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade was also opened in the Kyiv City State Administration.
