Graduation of Ukrainian pilots from RAF Elementary Flying Training took place in the UK. The Royal Air Force reported that Ukrainian pilots will be trained to operate jet aircraft. The graduation ceremony was attended by Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK.

"I am sincerely grateful to all the staff for training our pilots. I hope that they trained well and the instructors were not disappointed. In any case, these guys will go into battle very soon, and we will all pray that they will return from their combat missions," Zaluzhnyi said.

He also highlighted the importance of understanding the meaning of victory, noting that victory on the battlefield and, as a result, in the war is achieved not only by the daily work of Ukrainian soldiers, officers, and volunteers, but also by the vision of Ukraine's future actions and preparations for them today.

"We will pray, and you will fly, fight, and win.

I hope you have learned this well," he added. The initial training allows pilots to transfer to the combat training version of the F-16 fighter jet. Pilots will undergo in-depth training on fighter jets, allowing them to improve their piloting skills.

Additionally, the pilots took English language courses, which allowed them to fully understand the instructors' advice and the training process. In general, during the initial flight training, the pilots were taught basic skills in aircraft control, instrument flight, low-altitude navigation, and formation flight.
