The press service of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released the video. On the 14-kilometer-long Snagost-Zelenyi Shlyakh highway, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed more than 30 units of invaders' equipment in recent weeks. Most of it was ambushed and attacked by drones on the way to the villages of Zelenyi Shlyakh and Novoivanovka, which were seized by the Russian military two weeks ago and held by Ukrainian troops.
"The infamous 155th Naval Infantry Brigade suffered the biggest losses of equipment," the paratroopers said. The video shows 9 armored personnel carriers, 3 tanks, 12 infantry fighting vehicles and 5 armored vehicles of various models destroyed. In addition, there is also other equipment, the remains of which cannot be identified.
This highway is one of the two connections leading to the above-mentioned villages, which are currently under battle. Both roads are under the fire control of Ukrainian troops and are threatened by sabotage groups.
The road itself is located in the middle of fields and has no significant cover to hide from reconnaissance and attack drones.
The highway between Snagost, Lyubimovka and Zelenyi Shlyakh settlements, the Kursk regionMilitarnyi previously reported that an armored group of Russian troops moving to strike the left flank of the Ukrainian advance had been defeated near the village of Lyubimovka, the Kursk region. As a result of the successful operation, two Z-STS "Akhmat" armored vehicles, one BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle, and one BMP-3 have completely been destroyed. Interestingly, the source of this footage was Russian military bloggers who mistakenly identified the destroyed vehicles as Ukrainian, incorrectly verifying one of the vehicles as an M2 Bradley.
