The strikes on Iran were announced by Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari. The operation involved Israeli Air Force aircraft, which launched missiles at military targets in Iran. At the time of the attack, air raid warnings began to sound in most Iranian cities, and the air defense units launched the anti-aircraft missiles.

Locals reported explosions in the skies over the capital, where the flak artillery was seen firing at unknown air targets. It should be noted that the number of victims and the consequences of the attack are currently unknown.

In turn, Iranian media reported that most of the Israeli missiles had been intercepted. According to the BBC, a news agency close to the Revolutionary Guard reported that the targets had been some military bases in the west and southwest of the Iranian capital.

In general, Iran reported minor damage to the country as a result of this strike.

As a reminder, on October 1, 2024, Iran launched a massive missile strike against Israel, using several hundred ballistic missiles. About 200 missiles were used in the attack, while Iran claims to have used 400 missiles. The central, southern and eastern parts of Israel were hit.

The fragments of missiles found, thanks to their characteristic tail segments, allow us to determine that at least some of the missiles were Fatteh-1.
