Russia loses export versions of Т-90 tanks on the battlefield in Ukraine
Russia began to lose ?-90S tanks during hostilities in Ukraine. Photo of the first destroyed tank of this type was identified by OSINT researchers of the Oryx project. Project analyst Yakub Yanovsky wrote on Twitter: "This really seems to be the first loss of Russian ?-90S in Ukraine."
Earlier, Militarny reported on the documented fact of involving ?-90S tanks in the formation of units participating in the war against Ukraine.

In October, military observers assumed that Russia mobilized tanks that were primarily intended for export to Algeria, Turkmenistan or Vietnam. ?-90S is an export version of the Russian ?-90 tank. It has a number of variations in configuration.

The ?-90S has a new turret with an improved fire control system, autoloader system and a gun.
There is also an additional remotely controlled machine gun. The software complex gives the commander a complete picture of the battle. The tank's controllability is improved by implementation of an automatic gear shifting and steering drive from the steering wheel.
