The agreement itself was signed in June of this year during Putin's visit to North Korea and approved by the Federal Assembly a few days ago. According to the text of the treaty, in the event of an armed attack on one of the parties, the other undertakes to immediately provide military and other assistance. The parties also agreed not to enter into agreements with third countries directed against each other and not to allow the use of their territory to violate the sovereignty of the other party.

About ten thousand troops have already been sent from North Korea to Russia to participate in the war with Ukraine. The Alliance emphasized that the deployment of North Korean troops is a dangerous escalation and violates UN Security Council resolutions.
