The police reported that the drone was discovered near the village of Firladeni. Information about the crash was immediately transferred to the competent authorities, and access to the area where the drone crashed was restricted. The Ukrainian Aviation Monitoring Group reported that the drone flew into Moldova at 04:48 a.m.
