According to the crew, the Bradley IFV was involved in striking an enemy convoy of vehicles advancing to assault the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The crew intercepted two Russian BTR-82A APCs, one of which was shot by armor-piercing ammunition and started to burn. As the crew began to retreat and reposition, they noticed a second armored personnel carrier engaging them while they were on the move.
Due to the advanced fire control and stabilization system of the Bradley, the crew swiftly turned around and engaged the second enemy APC. According to the crew, when the second armored personnel carrier was fired upon, the armor-piercing ammunition had already run out, so they used high-explosive incendiary shells. "One enemy armored personnel carrier turned into a pile of ashes, the other was hit.
The Russian soldiers were running out of the vehicle and screaming: "Ouch, it hurts!"," said the crew of a Bradley IFV of the 95th Air Assault Brigade.
