Ukraine's Foreign Ministry confirms its minister will be at same meeting as his Russian counterpart

Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha will attend the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe) ministerial meeting in Malta, where Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will also be present. The Ukrainian minister will focus on Russian aggression against Ukraine, its implications for OSCE security and beyond and the necessity of achieving "comprehensive, just and sustainable peace". Media indicate that Lavrov, despite being under EU sanctions, will also attend the OSCE ministerial meeting in Malta. This marks his first trip to an EU country since the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
