The footage of the destruction of Russian equipment was posted on the page of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion. The Russian offensive on the Ukrainian-held village of Daryino began at night. Russian troops threw a pontoon bridge across the Snahost River to allow heavy equipment to pass to the Ukrainian positions.

The Russian operation was carried out at night in difficult weather conditions under heavy snowfall, which was supposed to hide the approach of the equipment and the direction of the crossing from Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance units. However, the scouts detected the enemy in time at the stage of forming a strike group consisting of tanks and armored personnel carriers. Based on the data obtained, the command of the 225th Battalion promptly engaged FPV drone crews to destroy enemy equipment on the approaches to Daryino.

"The first precise strike on the lead vehicle stopped the movement of the column, forcing the rest of the equipment to maneuver. A subsequent strike on the trailing vehicle blocked the retreat routes, which significantly complicated the situation for the enemy," say the operators of the Pentagon Company of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion. The coordinated actions of the Ukrainian units in this area (here) allowed them to break the Russian mechanized column and disrupt the enemy offensive. For the Russian military command, the bridgehead south of Snahost is important, as its control will allow them to develop a further offensive into the rear areas of the Ukrainian grouping of troops in the Kursk oblast.

The Russian troops were driven out of Daryino on August 10 this year during the Kursk offensive. Then the soldiers of the 225th Assault Battalion raised the Ukrainian flag over the village. However, the village is still being fought over, and at least part of it was controlled by the enemy as of early December.

The partial control can be seen in the chronicles of the 17th Heavy Mechanized Brigade, whose 1st Tank Battalion was driving the occupiers out of the building with tanks.

Recently, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ambushed and destroyed a platoon of Russian marines on armored vehicles, requesting reinforcements on behalf of the captured occupiers.
