Ramstein meeting to be held in January 2025

Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umierov has announced that a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (also known as the Ramstein Group) will be held in January 2025. Source: Rustem Umierov following a conversation with Portuguese Defence Minister Nuno Melo, as reported by European Pravda Details: Umierov said he would meet with his Portuguese counterpart in January "in person, at the next Ramstein-format meeting".

More details: Earlier, it was reported that an additional meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group could take place in December, likely at the highest level.

For reference: The Ramstein-format meeting was established in 2022 to coordinate US military support for Ukraine under the auspices of the United States.

It brings together more than 50 countries, most of which are NATO members.
