Fighting continues in urban area of ​​Kurakhove in Donetsk Oblast, with 234 combat clashes on battlefield

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that battles are ongoing in the urban area of the city of Kurakhove in Donetsk Oblast. The Russians have concentrated their efforts on breakthrough attacks on the Lyman, Pokrovsk and Vremivka fronts. A total of 234 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day.

Details: On the Kurakhove front, Ukraine's defence forces repelled 30 Russian attacks. The Russians tried to advance near the settlements of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Kurakhove, Yasenove, Dachne and towards Andriivka.

On the Kharkiv front, the Russians conducted seven assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Hoptivka, Hlyboke, Vysoka Yaruha, Buhruvatka and Starytsia. On the Kupiansk front, the Russians conducted seven attacks. Ukraine's defence forces repelled Russian assaults near the settlements of Kucherivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove and Nova Krystynivka.

On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted 36 attacks.

They tried to break into Ukrainian defences near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Novoserhiivka, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nadiia, Ivanivka, Terny, Toretsk, Hryhorivka and towards Druzheliubivka, Dibrova and Serebrianka. On the Siversk front, 12 combat clashes occurred near the settlements of Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Darivka and Vyimka. The Russians used armoured combat vehicles, quad bikes and motorcycles for assault actions towards the village of Verkhnokamianske.

On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians attacked near the settlements of Vasiukivka, Chasiv Yar and Stupochky seven times. On the Toretsk front, the Russians conducted seven attacks near the settlements of Toretsk and Druzhba. On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders stopped 37 Russian assault and offensive actions near the settlements of Lysivka, Sukha Balka, Promin, Zelene, Ukrainka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Novoukrainka, Pokrovsk, Novovasylivka, Novoielizavetivka and Novoolenivka.

The Russians used armoured combat vehicles to attempt to break through Ukrainian defences near the settlements of Zelene, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Novoielizavetivka and Novoolenivka. They were unsuccessful and continued to accumulate forces. On the Vremivka front, the Russians conducted 44 assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Kostiantynopolske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Novosilka, Blahodatne, Vremivka and towards Bahatyr.

Ukrainian troops destroyed one tank and two infantry fighting vehicles in repelling the assaults, while another three tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle were damaged. On the Orikhiv front, the Russians attacked near the village of Novoandriivka once. On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians tried to push Ukrainian units out of their positions four times.

They were repelled and suffered losses. On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area. On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, the Russians are actively using artillery and aircraft from the territory of the Russian Federation to attack Ukrainian settlements.

The operation in Russia's Kursk Oblast is ongoing. Ukrainian defenders repelled 27 Russian attacks and the Russians fired 440 times on this area over the past day. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue to inflict significant losses on Russian troops in both manpower and equipment, actively undermining Russia's offensive potential in the rear.
