At the same time, Russian military propagandists massively reported that Russian troops "left Yampil."

Pushilin also said that the militants had lost control of Yampil. Quote: "Now Krasnyi Lyman is half-encircled; the road from Svatovo is under our control, but periodically under fire.

Subversive and reconnaissance groups are working all the time. Yampil and Drobysheve are not under our full control." Background: Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine probably completed the encirclement of the Russian group in the area of Lyman in Donetsk Oblast on the evening of 29 September.

According to some reports, the Ukrainian military will be able to take the city if the Russians do not receive any reinforcements.
