Germany supplies Ukraine with new military aid portion containing missiles for IRIS-T
Germany handed a new military aid package over to Ukraine; it includes missiles for the IRIS-T air defence systems, trucks and pick-ups. Source: updated information on the German government website, as reported by European Pravda The package comprises of an undisclosed quantity of missiles for the IRIS-T air defence system, 13 trucks, two 15-tonnes autoloaders, 12 truck tractors and four semi trailers, 12 border guard vehicles and two pick-up trucks.
Germany is planning to provide 14 main combat tanks Leopard 2A6 with an ammunition load, two armoured repair and evacuation vehicles Bergepanzer 3, two air surveillance radars as well as 64 truck tractors and 72 semi trailers.
Germany promises to provide Ukraine with the Leopard tanks by the end of March. Reportedly, the Bundeswehr (the Armed Forces of Germany - ed.) is starting to purchase the replacement of Russian-made military equipment, which was sent to Ukraine.
