Zelenskyy on “diplomatic marathon”: More support for Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the important results of his "diplomatic marathon" and "right conversations" with partners are important agreements and good signals on long-range missiles, tanks, and combat aircraft in the future. Source: Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address to Ukrainians on 10 February Quote: "Held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief today.
It was a busy meeting... The second important thing this week is our diplomatic marathon.
London, Paris, Brussels - these days, I was speaking everywhere about how to strengthen our troops. [We have reached - ed.] very important agreements and we have received good signals. This applies both to long-range missiles and tanks, and to the next level of our cooperation - combat aircraft.
But we still need to work on this." Details: Zelenskyy said he was very pleased to hear and see how Ukrainian soldiers in the UK were quickly learning to operate the Challenger tanks.

He emphasised that the British want Ukrainians to win, and this is inspiring.
The Ukrainian President expressed gratitude to the UK Prime Minister, the Parliament, King Charles III and all the British people. Quote: "A fundamental meeting was held in France with President Macron and Chancellor Scholz. The three of us had a conversation, and it's the right conversation.
It's wrong to disclose its details, but we can say we heard each other. France [heard] Ukraine, Germany [heard] Ukraine. Our partners have heard our position, our arguments.
There will be more support. And I thank Mr President and all the French, Mr Chancellor and all Germans for that. I can feel the understanding that the protection for Ukraine is the protection of the interests of our partners as well."
Details: Zelenskyy also mentioned the European Council meeting and the special format of negotiations after the meeting in Brussels, where he met with all EU leaders. According to him, "now, our joint task is to take all that we have talked about and agreed upon and transform it into concrete delivery, concrete documents, and new, concrete branches of cooperation." The president also said that his address to the European Parliament was "a certain valuable summary of the path we have taken in relations with the European Union.
And the beginning of the new stage" when Ukraine is not a guest or partner from outside the EU, but "a full part of the European Union" in the European Parliament, the European Council and other EU institutions.
