Russian forces suffer losses in Kherson Oblast: dozens of dead and wounded taken to “military” hospital – General Staff

Thus, in the village of Kalanchak, Kherson Oblast, the invaders converted the Central District Hospital into a military one and took 36 killed and 18 wounded servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces there." Details: Over the course of 16-17 February, the Air Forces of Ukrainian Defence Forces conducted five air strikes on the clusters of Russian military personnel and equipment, as well as one strike on the position of an anti-aircraft missile system.

On 16-17 February, Russian forces launched six missile attacks on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast. Three private houses and one apartment building were damaged.

In addition, Russian troops carried out a total of 10 air strikes and conducted over 10 attacks using multiple rocket launchers. The Russian military is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk front. It suffers significant losses in manpower.

On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians continue to hold certain units in the areas bordering Ukraine, but no offensive groups were detected.

Exercise of Russian troops at the training grounds in Belarus is ongoing. Russian troops never stopped mortar and artillery bombardments of the positions of Ukrainian units, as well as settlements along the state border of Ukraine.

On 16-17 February, the areas in and around following settlements came under Russian fire: Kolos in Chernihiv Oblast; Mefedivka, Bachivsk, Kharkivka, Zarutske, Partyzanske, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Atynske, Oleksiivka and Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast, as well as Veterynarne, Strilecha, Vesele, Borysivka, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Tykhe, Okhrimivka, Nesterne and Obukhivka in Kharkiv Oblast. On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, the Russian army attacked the areas in and around the settlements of Hrianykivka, Kucherivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Novoselivske, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Fedorivka and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast. Russian forces carried out air strikes in the vicinity of the settlements of Krokhmalne, Berestove, Stelmakhivka, Dibrova, Serebrianka forestry, Bilohorivka and Spirne.

On the Bakhmut front, areas of over 15 settlements came under Russian fire, in particular, Vesele, Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Dobovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Niu-York in Donetsk Oblast. Russian forces also conducted an air strike near Berkhivka, Donetsk Oblast. On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts, areas of 17 settlements were affected by Russian fire, in particular Avdiivka, Vodiane, Vesele, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Bohoiavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Zolota Nyva, Vuhledar and Neskuchne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, areas of 20 settlements came under Russian fire, in particular, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The areas of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka were affected by Russian airstrikes. On the Kherson front, Russian artillery fire hit suburbs and the city of Kherson itself, as well as the areas of 25 settlements, in particular Havrylivka, Dudchany, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Dniprovske, Berehove and Veletenske in Kherson Oblast.
