Explosions rang out in Russian-occupied Crimea

Residents of Russian-occupied Crimea reported hearing loud sounds similar to explosions on the evening of 1 March. Source: Krym.Realii, the Crimean branch of Radio Liberty Details: Residents of Yalta, Bakhchysarai and Hurzuf reported hearing the explosions.

Krym.Realii said that the Russian occupation authorities have so far not commented on these reports.

Update: The occupying authorities reacted to the loud sound. Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to the Russian proxy "head" of Crimea, said: "Everyone should understand that we live in a different reality, where aircraft go supersonic, air defence and electronic warfare are operating." He did not specify what kind of sound it was.
