Ria-Melitopol reports that this building also hosted a "decision-making center" for the occupation authorities. According to the publication, meetings of Balytskyi's team were regularly held in the building's basement.

In addition, Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, mentioned that a series of explosions were heard in the Melitopol district in the village of Svitlodolynske.
"Local residents counted about 7 powerful explosions. There was smoke from the side of the railway bridge," Fedorov wrote.
