Charles’s Coronation invite ‘snubs’ Harry and Meghan’s kids

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children, Archie and Lilibet, have not yet received an invitation to King Charles' Coronation, it has been alleged. According to reports, both Harry and Meghan have received their invitation but it's not clear if this extends to their two children. It comes shortly after Prince Harry's explosive autobiography Spare was released.

The bombshell Royal chronicle has been extremely well-read since its release, with Prince Harry taking aim at King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as sharing details of how he coped with the death of Princess Diana. He also goes into detail about his and Meghan Markle's time in the Royal Family. One of the most talked-about claims in Spare is that a physical confrontation took place between him and older brother William at Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace in 2019.

It has also not been confirmed whether the controversial royals will attend the ceremony set to be held at Westminister Abbey on May 6 - the same day as their son Archie's fourth birthday.

A Buckingham Palace source told The Sunday Times that it would be "wholly improper" for discussions over roles for the Queen Consort's grandchildren but not her husband's. Harry and Meghan will not be invited to take part in the official balcony appearance and many members of the family have no wish to socialise with the couple. A friend of the Royal Family said: "They will be given the cold shoulder by very many relatives.

One said to me, 'I hope they'll be seated in Iceland'. "Many of the family just want nothing more to do with them. If they have to see them at the Coronation then so be it, but they do not want to socialise with them."

It's understood that Harry had expressed concerns over how the British public would react to him and his wife attending. Royal officials claim the pair have discussed their options when it comes to attending the coronation - including the possibility of Harry attending alone or skipping the ceremony altogether. Despite this, a friend of the Duke claims Harry is mindful that the coronation will be "pretty much the most important day" in his father Charles's life.

It's been reported that he would like to be by his father's side as he is crowned Britain's new king and would like to repair his relationship with other royals.
