Germany transferred to Ukraine over 30 Dingo armored vehicles, missiles for IRIS-T and M1070 Oshkosh tank transporter tractors

30 Dingo armored vehicles and missiles for the Iris-T air defense system are among the weapons that have been transferred this time. Germany also handed over to the Ukrainian military anti drone weapons as well as drone search equipment. The full list of assistance includes:
- 30 Dingo armored vehicles;
- missiles for Iris-T;
- 18 systems of protection against drones and the creation of obstacles;
- 18 reconnaissance drones;
- 5 M1070 Oshkosh tank transporter tractors;
- 3 forklifts.

The list of items transferred to Ukraine is being updated every week.
However, the German government does not disclose some details of the provided weapons, i.e. the number of missiles for Iris-T or the specifications of anti-drone systems. In mid-September, Germany announced plans to transfer Dingo armored vehicles to Ukraine. The government planned to transfer approximately 50 vehicles.
Dingo ATF armored military infantry mobility vehicles of the Krauss-Maffei were adopted by the Bundeswehr in 2003. At the beginning of November, footage featuring Dingo vehicles, which were probably headed for Ukraine, was released online.

It's worth noting that Ukraine also received M1070 Oshkosh tank transporter tractors.
They are intended for the tanks' transportation, deployment and evacuation of armored personnel carriers, self-propelled artillery, armored bulldozers and other heavy vehicles and equipment of all types.

Previously, such a tank transporter tractor was purchased for the Ukrainian forces by the 'Poroshenko Foundation' and the 'Sprava Hromad' NGO.
A list of aid planned to be sent to Ukraine has also been released on the website of the German government. This list includes an undisclosed number of missiles for the Iris-T, as well as 42 armored mine clearance vehicles, 4 mobile mine clearance vehicles, 3 remotely operated mine clearance devices, and 5 mobile reconnaissance systems. As previously reported, on October 12, Ukraine received the first IRIS-T air defense system from Germany.
Already on October 14, it was on combat duty. Within a week, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that information about the combat use of the system had been passed on to colleagues from Germany.

"IRIS-T demonstrated itself extremely well. This information regarding the baptism of fire of this system and verification of its combat capability and effectiveness in combat conditions has passed. This information will be passed on to the German side," Yuriy Ihnat, Spokesman for the Air Force Command of the UA Armed Forces, recently shared.
Ukraine expects the transfer of three more systems in the near future.
