Lecornu also noted that this was the first delivery of armored vehicles, and that the decision to teansfer the second batch was in progress.
France decided to transfer the AMX-10RC to Ukraine at the beginning of January this year.

The French AMX-10 RC armored fighting vehicle is manufactured by GIAT.
These vehicles have high mobility due to their wheelbases. They can be used for reconnaissance missions and provide infantry fire support in combat. It is armed with a 105/47 F2 MECA 105mm rifled tank gun, capable of firing at a range of up to 2000 meters.
The gun's armament consists of its own 105x527R caliber ammunition, including APFSDS, HEAT-FS, and high-explosive and fragmentation ammunition. In addition to the tank gun, the armored vehicle is armed with two 7.62 mm machine guns.
The AMX-10 RC has aluminum bulletproof armor with additional high-hardness steel shields.
The weight of the armoured fighting vehicle is 20 tons, which is two tons lighter than the Ukrainian BTR-4 infantry fighting vehicle.
