Croatian Prime Minister describes how he sees three necessary components for Ukraine's victory
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said that he sees the key components for the future victory of Ukraine as the readiness of Ukrainians to continue defending themselves, the unity of Western partners, and the constant financial and military support of the West for Ukraine. Source: European Pravda, quoting Plenkovic at a joint briefing with the leaders of Moldova, Slovenia, Slovakia and the President of Ukraine in response to a question from a Croatian journalist. Plenkovic noted that, in his opinion, there are three important elements necessary for the victory of Ukraine.
"First, it is the patriotism and readiness of the Ukrainian people to defend their freedom, the motivation of the Ukrainian leadership and President Zelenskyy. The second thing is constant support for Ukraine. And, in my opinion, from the political side, it is now stronger than ever before," the Croatian Prime Minister said.
He stressed that Ukraine needs constant economic and military assistance and this is vital for Ukraine to defend itself in the near and long term.
"Third, Western governments should take care of the cohesion of our societies and prevent internal divisions that can ultimately damage existing political unity. This is a formula that, in my opinion, should be implemented," said Andrej Plenkovic. The Prime Minister added that Croatia will continue to actively support Ukraine.
