Ukraine launches online course on modern military training

A large-scale war with the Russian invaders continues, so such knowledge is needed by as many people as possible in Ukraine. Training materials has been developed by a team of volunteers in collaboration with military specialists, medics and psychologists. The course "Basics: Modern Military Training" was created in partnership with the ASKOLD Special Training Center.
"The course is aimed to supplement and help you learn the necessary amount of knowledge, for which there is usually not enough time. In particular, the characteristics of various weapons, land navigation, communication, TCCC, survival in the field, etc.," the report says.

This course provides basic knowledge of military science, but not superseding practical training in the training centers. According to volunteers, the course takes approximately 13 hours to complete. All materials are available at once, so you can take an online course at a convenient pace and time.
The following categories of people may take interest in the course:
- first time mobilized;
- military personnel without practical experience;
- military personnel who want to update and supplement their knowledge;
- those who fall under mobilization criteria.
The course contains proven knowledge and recommendations from experts who have had combat experience since 2014. "After passing it, you will train faster and more smoothly, as well as be able to perform combat tasks.
This is important, because your training significantly increases the chances of your survival, as well as of fellow soldiers and posester," the volunteers say.
The organizers note that the course materials can be downloaded and studied offline when there is no access to the Internet.
