Lady C urges public to complain about political motives of Prince …
Lady Colin Campbell has called on the public to issue complaints over the political motives of the Archewell Foundation, a charity created by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She pointed out inconsistencies in the tax filings, which reveal that each of them worked just one hour a week for the foundation. Lady C has raised concerns about whether it follows US charity regulations and questioned the motives of the non-profit organisation.
In an interview with GB News, she urged people to issue complaints over the couple's involvement in political affairs. The Archewell Foundation's tax return reveals the Duke and Duchess of Sussex worked a total of just 52 hours for the charity in 2021. Despite the small amount of time spent working for the charity, the pair drew in GBP10 million from backers.
Since stepping back from their roles as working members of the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan say they have made their charity, which focuses on humanitarian matters, their priority. However, the vast majority of the money raised by the charity, GBP8 million, came from a single wealthy backer, whose identity remains unknown. Lady C has received tens of thousands of complaints about the charity and has encouraged people to complain to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the US.
She highlighted that in America, charities are forbidden from having political activism as part of their mission statement. The mission statement of the Archewell Foundation is clearly focused on political activism, which raises questions about its compliance with US charity regulations. Lady C believes that the organisation is "not only a joke, it's a sick joke."

The Archewell Foundation's core mission is to "uplift and unite communities, local and global, online and offline, one act of compassion at a time." The charity's website claims that "compassion is the defining cultural force of the 21st century and through its work Archewell Foundation supports a growing community of partner organisations fuelling systemic cultural change." Despite the charity's mission statement, Lady C has raised concerns about the political motives of the Archewell Foundation and its compliance with US charity regulations.
