SOF operators attack Russians near the Kalka River

Ukrainian volunteer and politician Yurii Mysyagin released the footage of a combat operation of the 73rd Naval Special Purpose Center.
The operation was carried out in the area of the Konka River, near the occupied village of Kardashynka. The Konka River flows in floodplains within Oleshkiv and Holoprystan districts of the Kherson region. "The soldiers are conducting an inspection and checking how comfortably the Russians lived on the captured territory on the left bank of the temporarily occupied Kherson region," Yurii Mysyagin said. The released footage featuring the Russian invaders have set up positions in abandoned houses located between Potemkin Island and the village of Kardashynka.

The invaders were monitored by the unmanned aerial vehicles, and that was how the artillery strikes on the Russian positions were adjusted.
73rd Naval Special Purpose Center
The groups of this Special Purpose Center have been participating in the defense of Ukraine since 2014.
In February 2022, the 73rd Center performed the tasks of preventing an airborne landing at the Kulbakyne Air Base. Together with the servicemen of the Territorial Defense Forces and the National Police, the operators of the SOF opposed the larger forces of the enemy, repulsed the enemy and inflicted considerable losses on the invaders.

The 73rd Center participated in the operation to liberate Zmiinyi Island on July 7, 2022. During the task, the combined group installed Ukrainian flags in different parts of the island.
The flag of the 73rd Naval Special Purpose Center of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine also flew over Zmiinyi Island.
On August 24, 2022, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, awarded the unit with an honorary award "For Bravery and Courage".
