Henry Cort Way, Fareham. (Image: Google Maps.) A 14-year-old has been charged with possessing a knife after three boys were seen walking along a town bus route. Patrolling police stopped the trio after they were seen walking along the rapid bus transit route on Henry Cort Way, Fareham[1].

Pedestrians are not allowed in this area. One of the boys was searched with officers finding a knife. The boy, a 14-year-old from Gosport was arrested.

He has since been charged with possession of a knife in a public place.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will now appear at Portsmouth Youth Court on Friday, May 12.
