Prince Harry will be at Coronation 'to write about it in next book' says …

An ex-pal of Prince Harry has said the only reason he is attending the Coronation is to write about it in his "next book". The former friend of the Duke of Sussex has hit out at the youngest son of King Charles III, saying the Duke will "dip his toe" in the event. It has left Lizzie Cundy, the socialite and former friend of the Sussex duo, fuming with the 54-year-old claiming the Coronation is a chance for the Duke to rattle off ideas about his next book.

Meghan Markle is not expected to attend the coronation, opting to stay home and look after her and Harry's two young children. Archie is set to celebrate his fourth birthday on May 6, the same date as the King of England's Coronation, meaning the Duke will make a quick visit to the services of his father.

But Cundy was less impressed by the appearance, saying: "Prince Harry coming to the Coronation and dipping his toe in and out, he'll have a hard job walking away with any pride, he'll be on one leg as his other foot will be in his mouth. "He's only coming to the Coronation for a fleeting moment so he can write in his next book or say in his next interview with Meghan, how poorly treated he was by everybody and how his dad didn't want him."

That was not all from Cundy, who said the Duke had "done this to himself" and was now using a "poor excuse" to keep Meghan away from the Coronation. She continued: "They have taken forever to answer him and are now using the poor excuse that Meghan can't go because of Archie's birthday but Harry is still coming despite him trashing the royals and everything it stands for.

"This is all for his next book, so he can say he is the Spare. This will backfire terribly, Harry this isn't about you." The Daily Star previously reported Prince Harry's Coronation appearance could be an awkward one, with Prince William rejecting some requests due to the "bad blood" between the two.
