Prince Harry is homesick for aspects of British life and was "desperate" to be at the Coronation, according to reports. It raises hopes of a reconciliation between the King and his younger son, who will attend the ceremony on May 6 without his wife Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex is said to have made a number of attempts to contact his father to discuss the crowning but with Charles's busy schedule, they have only been able to have one conversation.

And sources close to the 38-year-old reckon he might start spending more time in the UK as he misses aspects of his life here. According to reports in The Sun, Harry wants to "spend quality time with his family" despite claims he will jet back to the US immediately after the Coronation. The paper quotes sources who also say the King is "happy" at Harry's decision to attend.

Harry was keen for an audience with his dad and brother in London when he is back but that is understood to have been rebuffed by William. However, we reported that Harry is satisfied with his security arrangements, thought to have been a major sticking point. It had been thought Harry would not stay long in the UK in an effort to get back to California on the same day.
