CID police rescue 29 migrant labourers from a brick kiln in Peddapalli

PEDDAPALLI, APRIL 27, 2023: Sleuths of the Crime Investigation Department (CID), Karimnagar region have rescued 29 migrant labourers including eight children from the RR brick kiln in Rangapur village of Basanthnagar police station limits of Peddapalli mandal on Thursday.

Following the instructions of Additional DGP (CID) Mahesh M Bhagawath, the CID team led by DSP Ch Srinivas, inspectors P Vijay Kumar and B Tirupathi Reddy, SI A Mallesham, women SI G Sumalatha and head constable D Chandra Shekhar Rao went to the Raja Rajeshwar (RR) brick kiln and rescued the 29 migrant labourers along with their children with the support of SI Srinivas, Assistant Labour officer Jaligam Ramulu and VRA Chandragiri Sanjeev.

Later, the police sent them to their native villages in Odisha state by making them board the train.
