Poltava Oblast Judge suspected of working with Russian FSB while in Berdiansk
Law enforcers exposed a Russian accomplice from Berdiansk, who "administered justice" in Poltava Oblast: a notice of suspicion of treason was supplied on the judge. Source: Security Service of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia Oblast Prosecutor's Office, Ukrainska Pravda's source in law enforcement. Details: Deputy Prosecutor General has notified the head of one of the district courts of Poltava Oblasts of the suspicion of treason.
According to the source of UP, the judge in question is Larisa Bohomolova, who has been heading the Poltava District Court since July 2022.
According to the investigation, in the spring of 2022, after the Russian military occupation of the city of Berdiansk (Zaporizhzhia Oblast), a local judge, ignoring the oath to the Ukrainian people, began to actively cooperate with the special services and representatives of the aggressor country. To fulfil the task of her curators, the woman provided the Russians with information about pro-Ukrainian justice workers, and formed a positive attitude towards the occupation authorities among the staff of the Berdiansk City District Court. She collected and transmitted information on the movement of the Ukrainian military in Donetsk Oblast.

According to the Security Service of Ukraine, at the end of March 2022, she shared with the invaders information about the movement of three soldiers of Special Forces Detachment Azov from Mariupol to the area of the settlement of Mangush. Then, with the help of her "tip", the invaders tried to identify the whereabouts of the Ukrainian military. Also, the woman assisted the invaders in the formation of the staff of the so-called "Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations", illegally formed in Berdiansk.
After some time, the suspect left Berdiansk for the territory controlled by Ukraine and headed one of the district courts in Poltava Oblast. The officers of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed the criminal and gradually documented criminal actions. Currently, the issues of removing the defendant from office and choosing a preventive measure (detention) are being discussed.
Investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
