Prince Harry and Meghan 'living their truth' after coronation decision …

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are "living their truth" in the wake of a series of dramatic updates in the lives of the royals, a celeb friend of the couple has claimed. Speaking to Page Six, TV personality Gayle King said the couple was making decisions "for themselves" following the release of the Duke of Sussex's bombshell memoir, Spare. The CBS News journalist explained at the Time 100 Gala this week: "I think that Harry and Meghan are living their truth and I think they will make their best decisions for themselves."

"I think they're very solid," she added, "they don't consult me about their own decisions." Longtime pal King, 68, explained: "They make their own decisions and so far they're doing what works and what's best for them." She met the couple through Oprah Winfrey and was a guest at their baby shower in 2019 during Meghan's pregnancy with Prince Archie.

Harry and Meghan opted out of the lives of working royals in 2020 and moved to the US, now residing in Montecito, California. While on air 2022 King spoke about the baby shower, commenting: "A good time was had by all, that's what I'll say ... it was a very, very small, private affair and just a very special time for her." Harry is expected to come to his father King Charles's coronation on May 6 alone with Meghan due to stay back in the US with the children, Archie and Lilibet.

Harry's visit is expected to be brief for the historic day at Westminster Abbey. The Duke will be granted state-funded security for trips outside of Frogmore Cottage for the main events, however, will not be granted any for personal excursions. This has led some commentators to note that he may be under an unofficial "house arrest" during this time.
