"Our goal is to expand cooperation and open new mutually beneficial areas of partnership. The Ministry of Strategic Industries is ready to help coordinate all challenges and eliminate bureaucratic obstacles to further expand cooperation with Baykar Avia Ventures.

Ukrainian enterprises need this cooperation today as an opportunity to increase capacity and produce critical equipment critical for our military," Kamyshin added. The details of the agreements were not disclosed, but it is emphasized that the new contracts will provide Ukraine with "export revenue and weapons of a new generation." In early February, the location of the Bayraktar UAV Service Center was reported to have been determined in Ukraine.

The Center will serve, repair, and even upgrade the equipment.

It will also provide training for personnel connected to the operation of Baykar UAVs. The Government of Ukraine predicts the launch and first production of Turkish UAVs in Ukraine in 2025. The planned amount of investment in the construction of the plant and service center for repairs and modernization of UAVs is £95.5 million over 10 years.

The construction of the plant and the arrangement of the center assumes the transfer of technologies and the localization of production. In 2021, Ukraine and Turkey signed a memorandum on the construction of a joint training and testing center for the operation of drones. Previously, Baykar presented a cruise missile of its own development, Kemankes (Kagem).

It is equipped with an optical guidance system with support for artificial intelligence, providing detection, identification, and locking of the target during the final flight segment.
