Russia launches 18 cruise missiles over Ukraine

The Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that on May 1, 2023, around 2:30 a.m., the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with strategic aircraft.
Nine Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers from Olenegorsk (Murmansk region) and two Tu-160s from the Caspian Sea area were involved in the missile attack on Ukraine. A total of 18 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles were launched. The Ukrainian Air Force shot down 15 cruise missiles.

As a result of the Russian missile attack on Dnipropetrovsk region, 25 people were injured, including three children.

Lysak also added that there was destruction in the communities of the district.
Almost 40 residential buildings were damaged in Verbky community, and 2 in Yurivka community.
In Mezhyrich community, a school was damaged.
