Coronation will leave Harry 'exposed' and 'humiliated', says expert

Prince Harry faces being 'humiliated' and 'exposed' at King Charles' Coronation, according to a relationship expert. The Duke of Sussex, 38, is set to attend Saturday's historic ceremony alone as wife Meghan Markle remains at home in the US with their children Princess Lilibet, one, and Prince Archie, who turns four on the same day. The Coronation will see Harry, 38, come face-to-face with his family for the first time since he criticised several of them in the Sussexes controversial Netflix documentary and his explosive memoir Spare - which were released in December and January respectively.

The fallout from the series and book cast doubt over whether Harry and Meghan, 41, would attend King Charles' big day - but it was finally revealed in April that Harry would be there on his own.

Ms Molloy, speaking to the Express, said: "This is very interesting and is twofold. There will be a humiliation factor here for Harry."

She added: "Watching the other royals share the stage with the King and Queen while he is probably going to be shunted aside - this will likely be painful and incredibly frustrating for Harry." "Without the support of Meghan, Harry risks being left exposed to hostile family members which may prove difficult," Ms Molloy went on. "He will be made to sit rows behind - this may have that feeling of demotion for him."

Meanwhile, royal expert Omid Scoobie said that Meghan had decided to skip the momentous occasion to "protect her peace".

Omid, author of the book Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, said during an appearance on This Morning: "She is aware of how much the spotlight goes on her when she sets foot near the story." According to reports, Harry and King Charles, 74, had a 'heart to heart' conversation before the Duke accepted the invitation to the Coronation. However, it has been reported that Harry and Prince William have no plans for a reconciliation meeting at the momentous occasion.
