This is not the first case of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducting missile strikes against infrastructure objects and locations of the invaders. On June 2, the Defense Forces launched a massive missile attack on objects of critical importance for Russian troops in the occupied territories of Pryazovia.

The Ukrainian military targeted the seaport of Berdiansk, which the invaders used as a logistics hub to deliver ammunition and other military property by sea. On May 27, a series of explosions were heard on the outskirts of Berdiansk, accompanied by the work of enemy air defense systems. Preliminary information suggests that the attack was carried out on recreation centers in the village of Novopetrivka near Berdiansk, where the Russian invaders were deployed.

The Khimik and Vesna recreation centers, located on the coast of the Sea of Azov, were hit.

On the same day, powerful explosions were heard on the territory of the Azovkabel plant in occupied Berdiansk.
